BART Rapid Transit

The Bay Area Rapid Transit System (BART) has three stations in central Oakland.  They are:

1. Lake Merritt BART Station (near the Lake, Oakland Museum)
2. 19th Street BART Station
3. 12th Street BART Station (Oakland City Center)

Frequent commuter rail services is available from these stations to San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland Airport (vicinity) and SFO Airport.
