Although there is not currently a light rail station (BART) at the airport, frequent AirBART shuttle busses (and public transit) connect the airport to the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station.  The BART system (Bay Area Rapid Transit) offers commuter rail service to Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, the SFO Airport and other destinations.
